Team Manager Requirements

There are four requirements to become a Team Manager: a current USA Hockey Number, completion of SafeSport Training, a background check, and registration with the Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association.

Step 1

You will need a current (2024-2025) USA Hockey Number. When registering be sure to choose Manager/Volunteer option when asked "What type of member are you registering." There is no cost for this.

Step 2

You must complete SafeSport training every year. You will be redirected to your MyHockeyHQ Portal Login screen. If you do not yet have an account here please follow the directions for "First time members," read carefully. Once you are in your My Member HQ and on your Dashboard you will see SafeSport Training on the right half of the page.

Step 3

You are required to have an approved background check, renewal happens every two years. There is a $30 cost associated with this step.

Step 4

The last step is to register as a Team Manager with the Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association.
